I began my chef career 13 years ago and my passion for food and cooking is greater than ever. Starting my apprenticeship under very strict English tutors instilled in me the finer qualities needed to become a successful chef. I expanded my skills and knowledge by working at a variety of fine dining establishments within New Zealand and Australia and aboard Expedition Motor Yachts. The diverse styles and tastes I have encountered have influenced my cooking in their own unique way. I love living in Tropical North QLD and my food reflects that by utilising an array of our beautiful local products and produce. Over the years I have won awards and medals in various Culinary Competitions, but it is the reputation I have built within the local community that I am most proud of. I have also developed great working relationships with many high end clients and corporate businesses. Nearing my 5th year of operation - I have a successful business, a beautiful family I adore - Life could not be better! I believe to succeed in this industry, you need to provide a personal and professional service, and of course great tasting food. |
