A little bit about Chriso

I began my chef career in 1999 and my passion for food and cooking is greater than ever. Starting my apprenticeship under very strict English tutors, instilled in me the finer qualities needed to become a successful chef.  I expanded my skills and knowledge by working at a variety of establishments within Australia, Overseas and aboard Expedition Motor Yachts.

The diverse styles and tastes I have encountered have influenced my cooking in their own unique way. I love living in Far North Queensland and my food reflects that by utilising an array of our beautiful local products and tropical produce.  I started my personal chef catering business in 2008 and from its humble beginnings I have really enjoyed watching it grow into a great success.

Over the years I have won awards and medals in various Culinary Competitions, cooked for celebrities, high profile politicians and well known TV stars, but it is the reputation I have built within the local community that I am most proud of.  I believe to succeed in this industry, you need to provide a personal and professional service, and of course great tasting food!
